In Uttar Pradesh, major Rivers are rising threatening several low lying areas at several palces. The Ganga, Yamuna, Sharda Ghagra are on the rise at several places with light rain fall at some places in the last twenty four hours. According to the Central water commission there is no major flood threat in the state so far. But in Pilibhit district at least three villages of Puranpur thesil are under flood threat of Sharda River while in Gonda, Ghagra River have touched warning levels and alerts have been issued for tarafarganj and karnalganj theasil areas. Ken and Betwa rivers are overflowing in Lalitpur district and raised threats to villages situated in low lying areas.The weatherman has predicted rain and thunder showers at a few places of eastern UP and isolated western UP in the next twenty four hours.
