In Nepal, the senior leaders of the three major parties, UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress and CPN-UML held informal discussions on the implementation of the five point deal, peace and constitution drafting in Kathmandu today. The discussions is part of the efforts of the three parties to forge consensus on the integration and rehabilitation of former Maoist combatants which is key part of the four year old peace process. The meeting was attended by UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, CPN-UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal, and Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party leader Ram Chandra Poudel who said that the meeting dwelt on how to take forward the peace process.
