A major fire broke out on the second floor of a four-storey building housing a textile godown and some offices in Burrabazar area of Kolkatta late last night. Fifteen fire tenders were rushed to douse the blaze and the building was evacuated. Fire brigade sources said there was no report of any casualty when the last came in.The fire fighting operations proved difficult as the building was located in a congested lane.The cause of the fire and the extent of damage is yet to be ascertained.
