In Assam, a major fire broke out on Saturday at Numaligarh Refinery in Golaghat district. Officials said, there was an explosion at the hydrogen cracker plant area of the refinery at about 6:35 pm, when the fire broke out.However, the cause of the blaze is yet to be ascertained.Fire tenders at the refinery have rushed to the spot to douse the flames.
