In Uttar Pradesh, despite heavy clouds over several parts of the state, the major area is devoid of the rain. The temperature in various districts hovered between 26 and 31 degrees Celsius at 8:30 this morning. Scattered rain has occurred in Terai and some eastern districts but in the rest of the state humid conditions continue. The met office says that the monsoon will become active in a couple of days. <br/>
