Major administrative reshuffle in UP

In a major administrative reshuffle in Uttar Pradesh, all officers from Chief Minister's Secretariat, have been shifted and put on the waiting list without any posting.

AIR Lucknow Correspondent reports that soon after taking oath, Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav transferred 24 IAS and five PCS officers, removing Principle Secretaries to Home and Appointments departments. Mr. Rajendra Mohan Srivastav has been posted as Principle Secretary- Home while Rajive Kumar will be Principle Secretary- Appointments.

Secretary, Administrative Reforms, Anita Singh and Director General, Stamp and Registration, Alok Kumar have been made Secretaries to the Chief Minister and Special Secretary, Labour, Pandhari Yadav and District Magistrate of Saharanpur, Zubair Bin Sagir, as Special Secretaries to the Chief Minister.

Mr. Rakesh Garg who had been awaiting posting, has been made Principal Secretary, Trade Tax and Entertainment Tax.

Officials of the previous Mayawati government, including Principal Secretary, Home, Kuwar Fateh Bahadur, Additional Cabinet Secretary, Ravindra Singh, Principal Secretaries to former Chief Minister, Netram, R.P Singh, Durga Shankar Misra and her Secretaries, Navneet Sehgal and Anil Sant are among those who have been kept in the waiting list.
