Maintain calm, remain safe, says Indian embassy in Ukraine to Indians

Indian Ambassador to Ukraine, Partha Satpathy has requested everyone to stay calm and face the situation unfolding in the country with fortitude. <br />''<br />''In his message to Ukraine, Ambassador Satpathy said the Embassy in Kyiv continues to remain open and operate. He said the situation is highly tense and very uncertain with the air space closed, railway schedules in flux and roads crammed. He stated that the Indian government, External Affairs Ministry and the Embassy in Kyiv are working on a mission mode to find a solution to this difficult situation. <br />''<br />''The Ambassador said two advisories have been put out on the situation and urged people to stay wherever they are and in familiar locations. He asked people in transit to return to their familiar places of habitation. He asked those stranded in Kyiv to get in touch with friends and colleagues in Kyiv, universities and other community members so that they can lodge there.<br />'' <br />''Ambassador Satpathy said the Embassy is inundated with calls and is doing its best to help. He asked people to contact them on emergency lines provided in case of a critical emergency. <br />
