The main venue for the Commonwealth Games, the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium will be ready by the 20th of July. Briefing mediapersons in New Delhi today, the Director General of the CPWD, B.K. Chugh said that work at all the ten stadiums being constructed by the Department will be finished in a fortnight. Speaking on the occasion of the 156th CPWD Foundation Day, he informed that seven stadiums constructed by the Department have already been inaugurated in the last few months.
