In Jammu and Kashmir, all the main political parties and fronts in the Ladakh region, including the Congress, BJP, BSP, Ladakh Union Territory front (LUTF) and some religious and social organisations including Ladakh Buddhist Association (LBA) have rejected the recommendations of the working group on Centre-State Relations headed by Justice S. Sageer Ahmed.<br/><br/>In separate press releases, they alleged that the long-pending demand of the people of Ladakh for Union Territory status has seen ignored. They urged the centre to grant Union Territory status to Lakakh to fulfill the aspirations of the people of Ladakh.
