Mahila Congress today held protest against Narendra Modi led NDA government at Jantar Mantar in the national capital. Hundreds of party workers have gathered from across the nation and will gherao Parliament on the first day of the Monsoon Session.<br/><br/>The women's wing of the party accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of failing to deliver on the poll promises. All India Mahila Congress chief Shobha Ojha accused the Modi government of doing big u-turns on promises like reducing inflation, fighting corruption, zero tolerance for atrocities against women and others made during Lok Sabha elections last year.<br/><br/>Senior party leader Digvijay Singh, who joined the protesters, reiterated party's demand that External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan should step down. On being queried about BJP defending the leaders accused in various scams, he said it was because BJP does not have any morale.
