Mahesh Bhupathi and Rafel Nadal knock out from Wimbledon

Indian-Serbian pair of Mahesh Bhupathi and Janko Tipsarevic were knocked out of the Wimbledon tennis championships, as they lost in straight sets in the first round of the men's doubles yesterday. Bhupathi-Tipsarevic went down to Austrian Jurgen Melzer and Swedish Robert Lindstedt 3-6, 3-6, 2-6 in an hour and 15 minutes. In Women's Doubles India's Sania Mirza and her partner Martina Hingis advanced to the second round with a straight-set victory over Zarina Diyas of Kazakhstan and Saisai Zheng of China. Sania and Martina will next take on Kimiko Date-Krumm and Francesca Schiavone.Two-time champion Rafael Nadal was sent out of Wimbledon by dread-locked German qualifier Dustin Brown. 2008 and 2010 champion Nadal, slumped to a 7-5, 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 second round defeat against the world number 102. It was the 29-year-old's first ever defeat to a qualifier at a Grand Slam and came in the aftermath of losing his French Open crown where he had been champion nine times. Seven-time champion Roger Federer reached the third round with a 6-4, 6-2, 6-2 win over Sam Querrey of the United States. Third seed Andy Murray also reached the third round with a 6-1, 6-1, 6-4 win over Robin Haase of the Netherlands.
