The festival of Mahashivaratri is being celebrated in Nepal with religious gaiety and fervour. <br/><br/>People visiting various temples to worship Lord Shiva. Thousands of devotees offering prayers at famous Pashupatinath temple in Kathmandu. <br/><br/>All four doors of the temple are open since 3 O'clock but still devotees waiting in long queues for their turn. <br/><br/>Amid chants of Om Namah Shivaye and Shambhu hundreds of sadhus performing special rituals in the temple premises. <br/><br/>More than one million devotees from within Nepal and different parts of India, Sri Lanka and Malaysia are expected to visit Pashupatinath temple. <br/><br/>Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the festival. <br/><br/>AIR Correspondent reports, all four doors of the temple are open since 3 O'clock but still devotees waiting in long queues for their turn. <br/><br/>Amid chants of Om Namah Shivaye and Shambhu hundreds of sadhus performing special rituals in the temple premises. <br/><br/>More than one million devotees from within Nepal and different parts of India, Sri Lanka and Malaysia are expected to offer prayers during Maha Shivaratri. <br/><br/>Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the festival. Besides 4000 police personnel around 2000 scouts have also been deployed.<br/>
