Maharashtra's State Election Commission has announced bye-elections for Dhule, Nandurbar, Akola, Washim and Nagpur Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">State Election Commissioner U. P. S. Madan said, voting is scheduled on 5th of next month and counting will be taken up on 6th of October. These bye-elections were scheduled in July this year, but postponed due to the Supreme Court's order and COVID pandemic.<br />''<br />'' Last Tuesday, the apex court cleared that, the State Government's guidelines about COVID-19 will not be applicable on these elections. Accordingly, the State Election Commission announced a schedule for remaining period.</span><br />
