This move aims to prevent milk producers from being cheated at the primary milk collection center in Kolhapur.<br />''<br />''Mr. Bhujbal said that Fat and Solids Not Fat (SNF) complaints are being received that farmers are being cheated by using electronic weighing needles and other devices in milk collection centers at the primary level as discrepancies are found on inspection machines. It should be checked whether electronic weighing needles and other devices can be modified. He asked that a thorough check should be made as to whether the conversion factor recorded on the weighing machine is correct or not. Also the minister directed the officers to check and submit the report within a month after measuring both the volume and weight of milk on the electronic weighing machine in the primary milk institutions and recording them on the receipt given to the farmer.</span><br />
