<span style="color: #222222;">In order to minimise confusion among people and health care workers, Maharashtra's Health Minister Rajesh Tope has urged the Centre to allot either of the two vaccines, Covishield or Covaxin per state. Speaking to reporters in Mumbai, Mr. Tope said, the idea of 'One State, One Vaccine' has been put forward to the Union Health Ministry for their consideration. He further said that the Centre must also bear the entire cost of vaccination, including operational costs like transport, maintenance of cold storage units and engaging human resources. Mr. Tope reiterated that vaccines must be provided free of cost not just to health care workers but also the poor and vulnerable population.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Talking about Maharahtra's vaccination plan, the Minister said, Vaccination Centres will be set up only at civic hospitals, medical colleges, district and subdistrict hospitals. Mr. Tope said the State Government plans to develop 100 centres that will vaccinate 100 people per day, ensuring that the state's eight lakh health care workers get vaccination in the next three months. He, however, added that the date of commencement of vaccination programme, availability of doses and duration between the two doses is yet to be specified by the Centre.</span><br />''
