A college in Maharashtra's Palghar district has taken an initiative to provide doorstep delivery of books to students and readers.<br />'' <br />''The college has taken this step so that students do not have to move out and prevent infection of COVID-19.<br />''<br />''The Internal Quality Assurance Cell has collaborated with the college library in this initiative. <br />'' <br />''AIR correspondent reports, understanding the need of the students to continue with their education with same zeal, the Sonopant Dandekar College in Palghar has started library at your doorstep to deliver books for the students from the college.<br />'' <br />''The initiative which began from yesterday will initially cater to the students of the college and people residing in around seven villages of Palghar.<br />'' <br />''Later depending upon the response the doorstep delivery of novels and other reading materials will also be done to avid readers and enthusiasts in other parts of the taluka.<br />'' <br />''Around five employees of the library have been tasked to deliver the books and they will charge only for the travelling expenses from the students.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">This unique initiative of library at your doorstep will inculcate more reading habits not only among students but other people as well. </span><br />
