The district recorded 32 deaths in the same time taking the total death toll in the district to 4302. Thane Municipal Corporation individually recorded a highest single day spike of 429 new cases taking the total tally of infected persons to 34,808. 961 people have died due to the infection so far. Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation under Thane district recorded 397 new cases with three deaths taking the total tally of infected persons and death toll to 34896 and 725 respectively. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation saw 338 new cases with six death cases taking the total tally of infected persons to 40,750 and casualties to 801. Besides, Bhiwandi Municipal Corporation reported 29 new cases which takes the total tally to 4889.
