In Maharashtra, due to the Covid-19 restrictions, the flow of donors who visit orphanages and old age homes to give funds and essential items has completely stopped. Vijay Talekar, Tehsildar of Panvel in Raigad district, has taken note of this issue and given them a helping hand. AIR correspondent reports that the<b><i>&nbsp;</i></b>outbreak of Covid – 19 hit not only the common man but also the old age homes and orphanages. During the lockdown period, the number of visitors to old age homes and in orphanages decreased. Drastic drop in donations is a major cause of concern for them. Vijay Talekar, Tehsildar of Panvel took serious note of this issue and decided to give them a helping hand.
