Maharashtra is set for a stormy budget session of the State Assembly beginning today, with the opposition Shiv Sena-Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in an aggressive mood to take the ruling Congress-NCP government to task on a variety of issues. Governor K Sankaranarayanan will address joint session of the State Legislature by 1pm in the afternoon. AIR correspondent reports that the session will be the first full-fledged one for the new government and is likely to go on for six-weeks.
