Maharashtra registered a dip in new cases of Covid-19 on Sunday. According to the state public health department, 56 thousand six hundred and 47 people were infected with novel coronavirus during the last 24 hours.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Over 51 thousand patients were discharged which took the total recoveries to above 39 lakh 81 thousand. The recovery rate of the state is 84.31 per cent. Around 669 patients succumbed to the infection.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Mumbai on the other hand recorded over three thousand six hundred cases and 79 fatalities. More than five thousand five hundred patients were discharged in the day.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Mumbai's recovery rate has gone up to 89 per cent, and the doubling rate has slowed down to 103 days.</span><br />
