Maharashtra: Schools in some parts to reopen from tomorrow

In Maharashtra, after a gap of almost a month, schools in some parts of the state will reopen from tomorrow. Citing less hospitalisation of patients infected with COVID-19, the demand to reopen schools were made by parents. Likewise, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had given approval to reopen schools. However, the state government has entrusted the district administration to take a call on reopening schools by taking note of the COVID situation. <br />''   <br />'' The decision to reopen schools from the pre-primary level has been taken after consulting the COVID task force for children. State health minister Rajesh Tope has appealed to parents to give permission to their wards to go to schools. <br />''   <br />'' He also said that schools as well as students should follow the Covid-19 appropriate behaviour.
