A special Sessions' court in Mumbai today ordered two day Enforcement Directorate,ED, custody to Senior NCP leader Mr. Chhagan Bhujbal. Mr. Bhujbal was arrested by ED yesterday night in connection with Money laundering cases.<br/><br/>The direction came after two and half hours of arguments by both the parties in the special PMLA court in Mumbai today. The ED counsel sought three day custody of the former Deputy Chief Minister and also told the court that during the 11 hours of questioning yesterday, the NCP leader did not cooperate with the investigators and hence his custodial interrogation is necessary. <br/><br/>Mr. Bhujbal's advocate claimed that Bhujbal is not guilty and the probing agency has no evidences against him.The Court however, rejected his request for the bail.<br/><br/>The Enforcement Directorate had registered a PMLA case involving the Bhujbals and some of their associates and has already arrested the Bhujbal's nephew Samir last month in the case. <br/>The agency has filed two FIRs against the Bhujbals and others under the provisions of PMLA, based on Mumbai Police FIRs, to probe the Delhi-based Maharashtra Sadan construction scam and the Kalina land grabbing case.
