Maharashtra today reported 8159 new covid-19 cases taking the cumulative total to 62,37,755. According to the state public health department, 165 people succumbed to the infection while 7839 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the death toll has reached 1,30,918 and 60,08,750 people have recovered so far in the state.<br />'' <br />'' The recovery rate in the state now stands at 96.33 per cent and the case fatality rate is 2.09 per cent. The state now has 94,745 active cases.<br />'' <br />'' Not a single patient tested positive in Malegaon, Dhule Municipal Corporation, Dhule and Nandurbar districts. Around 20 districts and municipal corporations have registered single digit growths in new infection cases. 32 districts and municipal corporations have registered zero death due to COVID 19 today. Jalna, Hingoli, Yavatmal, Gondia districts have less than 100 active cases.
