Maharashtra today reported 5,246 new cases of COVID-19, taking its caseload to 17,03,444. According to the state's public health department, recoveries jumped by 11,277 to 15,51,282 while the death toll increased by 117 to reach 44,804. The number of active cases in the state stands at 1,06,519.
