<span style="color: #222222;">In Maharashtra, 4 thousand and 92 new cases of Covid-19 were reported today. According to an official press statement, forty Covid deaths were reported in the state. Of the 40 deaths, 15 occurred in the last 48 hours and seven in last week. Rest 18 deaths are from the period before last week. The case fatality rate in the state is 2.5 per cent.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">As many as 1,355 patients were discharged from various hospitals of the state during the last 24 hours upon their recovery. The recovery rate in the state stands at 95.7 per cent.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">With 645 patients getting infected, Mumbai witnessed a rise in its daily count. However, in some respite only four deaths were reported in last 24 hours. The recovery rate of Mumbai is 94 per cent. Whereas the overall growth rate of Covid cases in Mumbai from 7th of this month till yesterday has been 0.14 per cent.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, the second round of vaccination drive for healthcare workers will start in Maharashtra from tomorrow. In this vaccination drive all those healthcare workers who have received their first dose and have completed four weeks period will be eligible for the second dose as per the standard guidelines laid down by the union health ministry.</span>
