<span style="color: #222222;">Maharashtra today reported 2294 new COVID-19 cases, taking the total number of affected people to 19,94,977.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">According to the State Health Department, 50 patients succumbed to the infection during the day taking the COVID death toll to 50,523. Case Fatality Rate in the State stands at 2.53 per cent.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">On the other hand, 4516 patients were discharged today taking the total number of recoveries to 18,94,839. The recovery rate in the State now stands at 94.98 per cent.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Currently, there are 48,406 active cases in the State. Mumbai city reported 473 new cases today, which pushed its overall count to 3,03,625. The death toll increased by 8 taking the tally to 11,259. A total of 2,84,817 patients have recovered so far in the city. The number of active cases in the city stood at 6656.</span><br />
