Maharashtra reports 14,492 new Coronavirus cases

<span style="color: #222222;">In Maharashtra, a highest single day spike of 14,492 new Coronavirus cases were reported on Saturday. With this the case tally in the state has gone up to 6,71,942.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">A health official said, 297 COVID-19 patients succumbed to the disease on Saturday. The death toll in the state is close to touch the 22,000 mark.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR correspondent reports, on 20th of this month, Maharashtra had seen the same record rise of 14,492 cases of novel coronavirus as on Saturday.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">There are now, 1,69,516 active cases as more than 4.80 lakh patients have been discharged after recovery in the state.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In Mumbai, 1,134 new cases and 32 deaths were reported on Saturday.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The death toll in the island city has gone above 7,300 mark. The number of active cases in Mumbai now stands at 18,301. So far 35,66,288 tests have been carried out in the state.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, state home minister, Anil Deshmukh has said that the government has taken note of the recent guidelines announced by the Centre removing all restrictions on inter-state and intra state movement of goods and people.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said appropriate decision will be taken regarding the same after discussion with Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.</span><br />
