<span style="color: #222222;">Maharashtra today recorded 59,907 fresh COVID-19 patients, taking the overall caseload to 31,73,261. The state health department reported that 322 patients succumbed to the infection, out of which 128 occurred in the last 48 hours and 119 in last week, rest are from the previous week. The State's fatality rate is 1.79% and till date 56,652 patients have died due to Corona. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The state now has more than five lakh active cases. More than 25.78 lakh people are in home quarantine while more than 21 thousand are in institutional quarantine.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">A total of 30,296 people were discharged during the day in the state, taking the overall count of recoveries to 26,13,627. The recovery rate in the state now stands at 82.36 per cent.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mumbai today reported 10,442 new COVID-19 cases taking the caseload to more than 4 lakh 83 thousand. The city registered 24 deaths due to the infection taking the death toll to 11,856. Whereas more than six thousand people were discharged from hospitals post recovery.
