Maharashtra, Punjab, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh and Gujarat have reported a spike in daily new Covid cases. Union Health Ministry said these states account for 77.44 per cent of the new cases. The Ministry said, during the last 24 hours, 47 thousand 262 new cases were registered.
