In a bid to salvage its 25-year-old alliance ,BJP today sent a fresh proposal of 130 seats to its ally Shiv Sena in the forthcoming assembly polls in Maharashtra.
Party in-charge of Maharashtra, Rajiv Pratap Rudy told reporters in New Delhi that It is a very liberal proposal and he hopes that Shiv Sena will consider it.
Mr Rudy also said that his party has conveyed to oldest ally Shiv Sena to offer it those seats on which Shiv Sena never won. This development comes after Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray put a new offer of 126 seats to the BJP early in the day.
