The Bombay high Court has ruled that the Maharashtra State Government has not excluded Indian Premier League from Entertainment Tax under the influence of Sharad Pawar. The court gave the ruling is a Public Interest Litigation filed by Shiv Sena MLA Subhash Desai. Desai alleged that the exemption was given as Pawar was holding important position in BCCI.
