<span style="color: #000000;">In Maharashtra, nearly One Lakh 47 thousand women have joined self help group in Bhandara district under the National Rural Livelihood Mission. Of these, 35,000 women have been imparted various trainings including Poultry, Sustainable Agriculture, Organic Farming, Goat Breeding, Fisheries etc. At present more than 2100 students have been trained and 1010 students are working in various places. The department intends to impart self-employment training to 3000 students in rural areas in the near future.<br />''<br />''District has around 300 Bank Sakhis.
