<span style="color: #222222;">In Maharashtra, Nashik Municipal Corporation has come up with a unique idea to make the violators who spit along the roadside understand the importance of cleanliness.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR correspondent reports that the authorities from the civic body have been asking these people to do social service as well as create awareness on keeping the surroundings clean.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The decision by the civic body comes after violators were found dotting the places by chewing Pan Masala, Gutka and other tobacco items. Apart from penalizing the violators, the authorities have been asking these individuals to clean the area which they have defaced.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">This unique method to teach violators a lesson is furthermore to make them understand the importance of cleanliness in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">So far, the Municipal Corporation has collected more than 69 thousand rupees from 74 violators. Director of the Solid Waste Management of the Nashik corporation Dr. Kalpana Kute said, it is noticed that people who spit at public places do not wear masks as a reason the civic body also gives them a face mask to protect them and others from any kind of infection.</span><br />''  <br />
