Maharashtra: MVA govt to table Budget 2021-22 in state legislature today

The Maha Vikas Aghadi government in Maharashtra will table the Budget 2021-22 in the state legislature today. Finance Minister and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar will present the second budget of MVA government. The economic survey of Maharashtra projected the state growth to be minus 8 % in 2020-21 and Gross State Domestic Product to drop by ?1,56,925 crore.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The budget will be presented in the backdrop of the rising debt and challenging tasks of controlling the pandemic and at the same time increasing the revenue of the state.
