<span style="color: #222222;">In the wake of an oxygen shortage for treating Corona patients in Maharashtra, various local bodies in the state are coming up with their own oxygen production plants to cater to the rising demand. AIR correspondent reports that in order to overcome the shortage of oxygen in the district, the Nandurbar District Collector Dr Rajendra Bharud has set up three jumbo oxygen cylinder production projects which would cater to about 40 to 50 percent of the district's demand. Besides, two more projects to absorb oxygen from the air will be set up in the next eight days.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Work on the Liquid Oxygen Project is also in progress and it is believed that Nandurbar will be the first district in the state to become self-sufficient in oxygen production in the first two weeks of May. Similarly the BMC is also planning to set up 16 projects in 12 hospitals which will provide a total of 43 metric tonnes of oxygen per day. BMC said the project will be completed within a month after the completion of the tender process. </span><br />''  <br />
