Maharashtra: Loans approve to over 12,000 entrepreneurs through CM's Employment Creation Programme scheme

In Maharashtra, loans have been approved to more than twelve thousand entrepreneurs through Chief Minister's Employment Creation Programme scheme of the Industries Department. Through this, more than one lakh youths will get work. This performance of the State is more than 250 per cent of the previous year. It consists of 50 per cent women and 20 percent backwards-class industries. Among the sanctioned loan cases, 5,596 entities are in the manufacturing sector and 6,731 entities are in the service sector.<br />''  <br />'' Commissioner of Directorate of Industries, Dipendra Singh Kushwaha has informed that this scheme is being implemented so that more and more youths in the state can benefit from this scheme and become self-reliant. He informed that about one lakh jobs will be created from the above loan cases and the job creation in the State will be greatly boosted. Around 5,056 loan cases were sanctioned by the bank in the last financial year in the State. Out of which 2,820 beneficiaries were allotted a grant of 103 crore rupees.  Fifty per cent of the total sanctioned cases are women entrepreneurs. The bank has provided loans to 6,395 women and the subsidy amount is 160 crore rupees.
