Maharashtra Legislature to soon go online & have modern e-library

Maharashtra Legislature would soon go online and also have a modern e-library. Addressing a two-day session conducted by the Maharashtra branch of Commonwealth Parliamentary Association in Mumbai, the Speaker Dilip Walse Patil said the new initiatives would help boost productivity and speed up business of the House. He said plans also include setting up a dedicated TV channel on the lines of Lok Sabha TV, to enable people watch the House proceedings. Chief Minister Ashok Chavan, who inaugurated the session, announced a grant of five lakh rupees to the Association.<br/><br/>
