Maharashtra Legislative Secretary Rajendra Bhagvat has issued show cause notice to 53 Shivsena MLA's of both faction after receiving complaints of whip violation from both sides. All MLA's have been asked to reply within a week.<br />'' <br />'' During assembly speakers election on 3rd July, Uddhav Thackeray faction's whip Sunil Prabhu issued whip asking MLA's to vote for Shivsena Candidate Rajan Salvi. Eknath Shinde faction's whip Bharat Gogawale issued whip and asked MLA's to vote for BJP candidate Rahul Narvekar. During voting Thackeray's camp voted for Rajan Salvi while Shinde camp voted for Narvekar. There were 14 MLA's in Thackeray camp and 39 in Shinde camp. With 166 votes including BJP and others , Rahul Narverkar won the election.<br />'' &nbsp;<br />'' Immediately both camp filed complain alleging violation of whip by other camp. Gogawale excluded name of Aditya Thackeray, son of Uddhav Thackeray respecting Balasaheb Thackeray. Accordingly, as a procedure, Mr. Bhagwat issued notice to each MLA against whom there was a complaint.<br />'' <br />''Both factions have already approached Supreme court claiming to be original Shivsena. Supreme court will hear this matter on Monday.
