Maharashtra: Khadi and Village Industries Commission organises State level exhibition under PM Employment Generation Programme

State Office Maharashtra, Khadi and Village Industries Commission, have organised State level exhibition under Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme. The exhibition will run from 26 January – 1 February 2023 at Mumbai's World Trade Centre. KVIC chairman Manoj Kumar inaugurated the exhibition. He said that the aim of organising the Exhibition in WTC is to arrange the interaction of exhibitors with Buyers and have Buy Back arrangements.<br />''<br />''During the exhibition, around 40 registered khadi Institutions as well as PMEGP/REGP Units from 15 states across the country are participating and are exhibiting their Export Quality Khadi & Village Industries Eco-friendly products produced by traditional artisans.<br />''<br />''While addressing the gathering, Manoj Kumar said that through KVIC we have to support khadi and uplift our artisans. we have increased the loan amount up to 25 lakhs rupees through KVIC, he added. He said, KVIC has earned 1.15 lakh crore rupees turnover last year.<br />''<br />''Maharashtra Khadi and Village Industries board chairperson Ravindra Sathe was also present at the occasion. While addressing the event he said that MSKVIB soon will be starting a unique initiative in Maharashtra to promote khadi. <br />''<br />''<br />
