<span style="color: #212529;">Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope has expressed concern over the low vaccination rate in the state and said that there is a shortage of Covaxin in the state. While speaking to reporters he said that they are receiving calls from district authorities in this regard.<br />''&nbsp;</span><br />''<span style="color: #222222;">He said that the state has demanded 50 lakh doses of Covishield and 40 lakh doses of Covaxin to ramp up the vaccination. He said that the state was registering the rate of 8 to 10 lakh doses per day earlier and now it has come down to almost 6.5 lakh doses. Therefore, efforts should be done to expedite the vaccination in the state and instructions have been given to the administration.</span><br />
