<span style="color: #222222;">In Maharashtra, gymnasiums, barber shops, salons and beauty parlours have reopened after a hiatus of three months. The salons will have to adhere to the standard operating procedures with regards to hygiene and cleanliness. However, skin related services are not allowed in the salons at present seeing the current pandemic situation. Barbers are seen using gloves and sanitizer. Yesterday, a highest single day spike of 5,318 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the state taking the total count of cases to 1,59,133.
