Maharashtra Guv reviews Covid-19 situation in state at a high level meeting

<span style="color: #222222;">Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari reviewed the Covid 19 situation in the state at a high level meeting with senior officials at Raj Bhavan yesterday.<br />'' <br />'' AIR correspondent reports, Maharashtra Governor B S  Koshyari has advised the state administration to prepare itself for COVID challenge considering the likely situation of Corona Virus Disease in the State in the months of June and July. He asked the government to keep enough medical facilities, doctors, staff and beds ready in order to properly handle the load during monsoon months. He also asked the administration to make sure that non COVID general patients do not suffer anywhere in the state for want of medical facilities.Besides the Governor instructed to take special measures for containment zones like Dharavi.<br />'' <br />'' The Governor also took review of transportation of migrant workers to their home States and the status of relief camp for migrant workers.The Governor suggested the government to think of incentivising frontline workers  who are doing good work in the battle against COVID. Municipal Commissioner I S Chahal and Additional Chief Secretary of state health department Dr. Pradip Vyas apprised the Governor on the state government's COVID-19 preparedness.</span> <br />
