<span style="color: #222222;">As per the recent Government Resolution issued by the Maharashtra Department of Women and Child Development, special preference will be given to orphan candidates for the posts to be filled in the department through external system.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Minister of State Bachchu Kadu had made a special request to the Minister of concerned department in this regard.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The decision can benefit about ten thousand orphan in the state who have completed 18 years out of kindergartens in various districts of Maharashtra.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Orphan candidates have one per cent parallel reservation in jobs in education as well as state government, semi-government departments.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">However, many projects under the Department of Women and Child Development are recruited on a contract basis through external mechanisms.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The posts of Assistant and Multipurpose Staff in the Office of the Defense Officer, Data Entry Operator on Child Welfare Committee and Juvenile Justice Board, various posts at One Stop Center are filled on contract basis.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">From now on, special preference will be given to orphan candidates for these posts.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">While applying for these posts, the candidate will have to submit the orphan certificate issued by the competent authority in the Department of Women and Child Development as well as fulfill the required educational, technical, physical and other eligibility criteria for the post.</span><br />
