<span style="color: #222222;">In Maharashtra, the State Government today revealed that it had spent close to Rs. 105 crore on transfer of migrants stranded across the state.<br />'' <br />'' An official press release informed that the state arranged over 44,106 buses to help over five lakh migrants reach either the railway station to catch a train back home or to the state border.<br />'' <br />'' It said that over 2.28 lakh migrants used the State Transport bus service to a journey to the railway station while 3.09 lakh migrants used the service to reach the state borders of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka and Telangana among others.        <br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, the State Government is trying hard to uplift its testing facilities and health infrastructure to combat COVID-19.<br />'' <br />'' AIR  correspondent reports, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has said that the State Government is working on enhancing health infrastructure across all the districts.<br />'' <br />'' Speaking after the online inauguration of a Virology Lab in Ratnagiri's District General Hospital, Mr. Thackeray said, the pace of COVID testing will increase henceforth and people will be able to get themselves tested at an affordable cost.<br />'' <br />'' He informed that the number of testing labs have jumped from mere two to 85 in last three months.<br />'' <br />'' Congratulating the District Administration for speedy work, Mr. Thackeray informed that the state of the art lab has been built in just 14 days.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, a second COVID Care Centre for Policemen has been operationalized in Maharashtra's Palghar district.<br />'' <br />'' The facility, set up at Posheri village in Wada Taluka will have a 50-bed quarantine facility apart from a 50-bed for medical care of Corona-infected Policemen.<br />'' <br />''<br />''More than 2,500 Policemen have caught the infection so far, with 33 of them succumbing to it.</span>
