The axe has finally fallen on some bureaucrats for their alleged role in the Adarsh Housing scam. The latest to be implicated, are state Information Commissioner Ramanand Tiwari and State Human Rights Commission Member Subhash Lala. The Maharashtra Government has sought their resignation for their alleged involvement in the Adarsh Housing scam. Meanwhile, the Union Environment Ministry has extended the date for receiving the Adarsh Housing Society’s response on a show cause notice issued by it till the 4th of next month.
