<span style="color: #222222;">Maharashtra Government today imposed state-wide curfew from today midnight following the COVID-19 outbreak. The state has maximum number of Corona virus patients in the country with the number of infected patients nearing 100. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said at a video conferencing that he was compelled to announce a state-wide curfew. Even after imposing Section 144 across the state, people were not listening and so the government was compelled to take this step. He said, yesterday the government had sealed state borders and today the district borders have been sealed.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' Mr Thackeray added that as for private vehicles, they would only be allowed in case of emergency. The number of commuters taking rickshaw and taxi services would remain restricted. He said, he has already requested the Prime Minister to stop all international flights landing in the country. Vehicles carrying essential supplies, medicines, and agriculture produce will be allowed to ply. </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' As announced earlier, all religious places of worship will remain closed. He added that for emergency, Anganwadi workers and home guards are being trained for medical assistance. Meanwhile, Indian Airlines has decided to suspend all domestic operations from 25th of March amid COVID-19 pandemic.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />''Guardian Minister Aslam Shaikh today informed that three state-run hospitals in Mumbai will soon have Isolation Wards comprising 500 beds to deal with rising Corona virus cases. He said, these isolation wards will come up at G T Hospital, J J Hospital and St. George Hospital. The Minister added that an order for 100 ventilator-beds has been placed for the three state-run hospitals in Mumbai city. These ventilator-equipped beds will be part of the 500 beds which have been planned in the Isolation Wards.</span><br />
