The state government has decided to use Fire Brigades powerful jet spray to sanitise the public toilets in densely populated areas such as Dharavi, every one hour.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, An order has been issued to lock down five central prisons in Mumbai, Pune and Thane districts to prevent the spread of coronavirus among inmates. As per the order, no new inmates would be admitted and no one would be let out. Even the staff will not leave the prisons. 23 people who are said to be members of Wadhavan Family were detained by Satara Police for violating lockdown and travelling to Mahabaleshwar  and all of them were home quarantined in a government building.
