<span style="color: #222222;">In Maharashtra, State Health Minister Dr. Rajesh Tope has emphasized the need to increase the number of Covid Patient beds in Government Medical College (GMC) at Nagpur from existing 600 to 1,000.&nbsp; He was addressing a press conference in Nagpur today. Dr.Tope accompanied by State Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, Drug and Medicine Minister Dr.Rajendra Shingane today held a meeting with Nagpur Divisional Officers regarding Covid Management situation.<br />'' <br />'' While briefing the media, Mr Tope said, Government Medical College is the oldest college in Vidarbha with over one thousand doctors.&nbsp; Looking at the upsurge in Covid cases, he said, GMC with a capacity of 1,700 beds should be prepared with at least 1,000 covid beds.&nbsp; He also announced that the rates of plasma dose are capped at 5,500 rupees per 200 ml of plasma sample.<br />'' <br />''<br />''Nagpur district at present has over 71 thousands Covid cases and patient Recovery Rate is about 75 percent.</span>
