Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde today said that the kin of the deceased, who succumbed to his injuries after falling from the human pyramid formed to break the pot during Dahi Handi festival, will be given immediate financial compensation of 10 lakh rupees as announced by the State Government. He said that injured Govindas have been given free treatment, besides those seriously injured will be given monetary compensation. The deceased Sandesh Dalvi succumbed to his injuries at a hospital in Mumbai yesterday.  <br />''<br />''The Chief Minister made this announcement in the State Legislative Assembly in the ongoing Monsoon Session. Leader of the Opposition Ajit Pawar and Shivsena Legislator Ajay Chaudhari had made demand in this regard.  While replying to the discussion on Heavy Rainfall, the Chief Minister said that since June 121 per cent rainfall has been recorded. He said that the excess rainfall was caused due to climate change. Mr. Shinde said that a total of 18 lakh hectares of land has been affected, adding that those persons and animals killed during the floods too will be compensated.<br />''<br />''He said, last time 10 thousand rupees per hectare were given which has now been increased to 13,600 rupees. The Chief Minister informed that the Panchnama of the affected land has been completed assuring that those affected will not be deprived of financial assistance. Earlier in the day, while replying to a Supplementary Demands on Roads, the Chief Minister announced that the roads that fall under the jurisdiction of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation will be cent per cent concretised. He said, the tender process to concretise 603 kilometres of roads has been completed.<br />
