Maharahstra Governor K Sankaranarayanan has been transferred to Mizoram for his remaining tenure, which ends in 2017. A late night Rashtrapati Bhawan communique issued in New Delhi says that the 82-year-old Sankaranarayanan has been shifted to Mizoram and Gujarat Governor OP Kohli has been asked to discharge his duties.
